Ian Gibson

Ian works as a Financial Planner and Manager of the Financial Planning division of Lomax Financial Group. In this role, he is responsible for providing clients with financial planning advice for wealth creation and growth. Ian works closely with the accounting team at LFG to ensure that clients receive a fully integrated service in relation to their financial affairs.

As Manager of the Financial Planning division, Ian is responsible for the development and implementation of systems and processes to ensure that the level of service delivery to clients is optimised. He also ensures that appropriate relationships are developed with product providers and technical advisors to ensure that LFG is at the 'cutting edge' of service offering. His specific interests include project management, staff professional development and IT.

Before joining LFG, Ian owned a software development business thai specialised in the shipping container service industry throughout Australia and New Zealand. He was actually a client of LFG before joining the firm. Ian's qualifications including a Diploma of Financial Planning (Finsia), a Graduate Certificate of Financial Planning (Finsia) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance (Kaplan).

Outside work, Ian's interests include his family, competition sailing, golf and rugby.
